EITHOS is developing a novel Identity Theft Observatory System, empowering European citizens, Law Enforcements Agencies (LEAs), and policy makers to further contribute to the prevention, detection, and investigation of online identity theft (OIDT) related crime. Through targeted awareness campaigns and innovative engagement activities, EITHOS aims to raise public awareness about Online Identity Theft and associated risks and societal impact.
The SILVANUS project embraces a holistic approach to extreme wildfire prevention and suppression, including a high level of stakeholder engagement.
The objective is to implement and validate the SILVANUS sustainable forest management platform and methodologies for monitoring and protecting natural resources.
The technical and scientific innovation will develop novel methodologies in monitoring and analysing ecological growth of natural resources to complement the analysis of biodiversity models.
The environmental monitoring framework developed within SILVANUS will be supplemented with cutting-edge technologies for the early-stage detection and response coordination of wildfire.
Finally, the SILVANUS platform will offer support for rehabilitation, restoration, and adaptation of natural forest growth.
MEDIATE, a Multi-hazard and Risk-informed System for Enhanced Local and Regional Disaster Risk Management
Climate change impacts regions worldwide in diverse ways, often causing significant damage to structures, populations, and the environment.
The MEDIATE project develops a decision support system (DSS) for disaster risk management, integrating multiple interacting natural hazards and cascading impacts. It employs a resilience-informed, service-oriented, and people-centred approach that accounts for forecasted changes in hazards and exposure.
This risk-informed DSS is designed as a user-friendly IT system, enabling end users to model and visualise potential disaster scenarios while assessing how physical and social interventions affect these scenarios and enhance their communities’ resilience to current and emerging natural hazards.

The FIDAL project aims to advance 5G and explore 6G potential through the deployment of three labs and large-scale facilities, along with the development of an experimentation framework featuring AIaaS, Zero-Touch Management, and Testing as a Service. The project also created repositories for network applications, AI data, and key documentation, and designed a security framework for 5G/6G networks.
FIDAL successfully trialed seven Extreme Media and PPDR use cases and onboarded 28 Open Call use cases. The first Open Call, held from 15th September to 20th December 2023, offered up to €250,000 per application, with a total budget of €4 million to support new 5G use cases and large-scale trials. EFFECT and SwarmCatcher are two of the 19 winners (among 92 applications).
EFFECT
by
EFFECT will deploy a system/service for the Early detection of fires based on in-situ sensors and an effective management of events by responding teams. The trial aims to exploit the evolved 5G technology in these challenging contexts, marking a leap forward in connectivity for fire detection systems in critical environments.

SwarCatcher
by
The SwarmCatcher project aims to deploy an advanced anti-drone and surveillance infrastructure, by utilizing AI techniques and 5G communication. It incorporates a variety of sensors: optical/thermal cameras, RF detectors, and acoustic sensors, integrated with AI techniques for threat detection and classification.
The system supports real-time situational awareness and decision-making for end-users such as law enforcement agencies and emergency responders.
SwarmCatcher seeks to enhance public safety, environmental monitoring, and critical infrastructure protection.
